Here are Caroline’s thoughts on libraries:

‘Libraries don’t just make readers, they also make writers. I’ve been lucky enough to interview dozens of contemporary authors over the past decade, and so many of them have told me that they wouldn’t be writing  today if it wasn’t for libraries. Stories began for me there too: I was enthralled from the day I listened to a librarian read the tale of Mog, The Forgetful Cat by Judith Kerr when I was four years old. There should always be a place in our communities where stories are freely given, and for me, libraries are that place.’
